Just 6 miles south of Cambridge, Babraham is a quiet and pretty village ideally placed for exploring the University city and the surrounding rural beauty of Cambridgeshire. There is a good, regular bus service and the bus stop is five minutes walk away. Park & Ride with a bus to the city centre every 10 minutes is just 2 miles down the road.

The Granary makes an ideal holiday cottage for a short break close to Cambridge, but is also close to Newmarket Racecourse (about 20 minutes drive) and 10 minutes from the M11, offering fast access to London / Stansted in one direction and the Midlands and beyond in the other.

There are good train services to and from London from the nearby station of Whittlesford (on the Liverpool St line), and from Cambridge.

The George Inn next door to the Granary serves good food at lunchtimes and evenings. Fish & chips, Indian and Chinese restaurants can be found in the nearby village of Sawston (2 miles) as well as shops, banks and a chemist.
